Terms of Use
Last updated: November 2025
01 — PLAIN ENGLISH
The Plain English Version
By using WiseFamilies.co, you’re agreeing to these terms.
We’ve written them in plain English because legal jargon helps no one.
Read them. They protect both of us.
02 — WHO WE ARE
Who We Are
WiseFamilies.co is an Australian education brand helping parents raise balanced, AI-ready kids.
Important: Everything we create is for educational purposes only — not professional, medical, or legal advice.
If you’re worried about your child’s wellbeing, screen use, or development, talk to a qualified professional. We’re here to inform and support, not diagnose or prescribe.
03 — YOUR AGREEMENT
By Using This Site, You Agree:
- You’re over 18
- You’ve read these Terms and our Privacy Policy
- You’ll use our materials responsibly
If you don’t agree, don’t use our site.
04 — WHAT WE PROVIDE
What We Provide (And What We Don’t)
We work hard to give you accurate, research-backed information. But AI and technology change fast.
What this means:
- We can’t guarantee every detail stays current forever
- You need to use your own judgment at home
- If something seems outdated or unclear, email us
We’re building this alongside you, not ahead of you.
05 — CONTENT & USE
Our Content, Your Use
Everything on WiseFamilies.co — blog posts, frameworks (like WISE), videos, PDFs, courses — belongs to us or is used with permission.
✅ What You Can Do:
- Download free resources for personal home use
- Share links with other parents
- Reference our frameworks when talking to teachers
❌ What You Can’t Do:
- Reproduce, resell, or redistribute our materials commercially
- Use our content to train AI models without permission
- Claim our work as your own
Want to use our content professionally? (Schools, workshops, corporate training)
Email support@wisefamilies.co — we’ll work something out.
06 — PURCHASES & REFUNDS
Purchases & Refunds
When you buy a course or digital product:
- You pay the listed price
- You provide accurate payment info
- You understand our refund policy (detailed on our Refund Policy page)
The short version: If something’s broken or doesn’t match what we promised, we’ll fix it or refund you within 90 days.
Issue with a purchase? Email support@wisefamilies.co (48-hour response time, weekdays).
07 — COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Community Guidelines
If you join our community spaces (comments, courses, membership areas):
✅ Do:
- Be respectful and constructive
- Keep discussions supportive and on-topic
- Protect other people’s privacy
❌ Don’t:
- Share others’ personal details without permission
- Spam, harass, or spread hate
- Promote your own products without asking first
We’ll remove anyone who violates these principles. No warnings. No negotiations.
This isn’t about control. It’s about protecting parents who come here for help, not drama.
08 — LIABILITY
Limitation of Liability
We provide information “as is.” We’re not liable for any loss, injury, or damages that arise from using our content.
Translation: We’re giving you research-backed tools and frameworks. How you apply them at home is your call.
Use what fits your family’s values. Skip what doesn’t.
09 — EXTERNAL LINKS
External Links
Sometimes we link to tools, research papers, or other websites. We don’t control those sites.
Before sharing personal information anywhere else, check their privacy policy and terms.
10 — CHANGES
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time (usually to clarify language or comply with new laws).
When we do, we’ll post the updated version here with a new date.
Continued use of our site after changes means you accept them.
11 — GOVERNING LAW
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Australian law (Australian Consumer Law and the laws of Western Australia).
We’re based in Perth, Australia, but we serve families worldwide. If you’re outside Australia, these terms still apply.
